It's time for a haircut!!! I haven't had one since January. Geez. I thought I wanted to let it grow a little bit because I enjoy messy buns and ponytails in the summer time. I can't handle it anymore! This is why...
1. I can't stand blowing it dry. I get waaaay too hot. My hair isn't exactly "long" but I have a lot of it and it's thick, so it takes a while to dry it and by the time I'm done, I'm all sweaty and all my make-up has melted off. I've been extremely hot natured lately anyway with my fertility meds dominating my hormones!

2. My layers are all grown out and not taming properly. Therefore, I'm not happy with anything I do with my hair, outside of just straightening it.
3. My roots are showing big time, meaning it's time for a coloring. However, I don't want to color it at this length because it takes too long!
4. I'm bored. Ever just get bored with your look? I used to go through this a LOT, therefore I went through drastic changes between being blonde & brunette, and sometimes even pink. I prefer sticking to the brunette side of things, with hints of red. I need this right now. I'm bored with my chocolate locks.
This is where I need your opinions and votes. I don't know what I want to do, or how short I want to go. Please take a look at the pictures below and tell me what you think. Ignore the color of the hair, I already know what I'm doing with that, just focus on the cuts.

Okay, please share your thoughts/opinions on the above haircuts with my face. I'm worried about going short will make my face look too round. I've had some pretty short hair in the past, but my face was thinner then.

Your face isn't round at all. maybe rounder than junior high or something, but still not round enough to qualify as round. i like victoria's look bettter than paris'. not sure why, other than i think longer in the front and shorter in the back would totally work for you. you could definitely pull it off. now, if only you had the giant fake boobs to go with it. ;) natural breasts are so boring these days.

ReplyDeleteDEFINITELY go for Victoria's haircut. I had my hair chopped off last year (10 inches) into a Victoria Beckham bob, and I absolutely loved it. It helped me stay nice and cool (it gets SO hot here), and it was easy to maintain, wash, dry, and go! I also got a ton of compliments on it, and inspired a couple others to get it!
ReplyDeleteI am currently growing my hair back out, but contemplating going back to this hair cut because I liked it so much. I think the bob will work great for your facial features...it will add volume and play up your eyes and cute nose!
