Boys and Their Toys

Glenn got a new toy this past weekend and I admit, I'm very pleased as well. Our living room no longer looks like a college student's dorm, but a real classy home. :) We've been looking at different options for a long time now, but always came back to one particular brand because of its sleek/classy look and great reviews. So often, these products can look cheapened with excess plastic around the frame, and that was something Glenn was most certainly against. If we were going to do this, we were going to do it right. So... I officially present to you... the newest upgrade to our living room... our new Beast:

Our new beast is a 52" Samsung LCD. It came pre-loaded with tons of cool features... recipes, childrens stories & songs, work-out routines, games, photo slide shows... it even has a USB port so I can connect a flash drive and use the TV as a giant digital picture frame. It's a very nice TV and we've been eyeing this brand for a while now. The frame around the TV is vey sleek and has a reddish tint to it. It looks quite lovely in the living room. We now also have curtains to block out excessive sunlight so our cinema experience can be enjoyed during any time of day. :) The TV and curtains change the entire look of the room and I am pleased to see Glenn so excited. Unfortunately, our social life is going to die because we're now going to spend all our time re-watching every movie we own. ;)
