Starting a new chapter in life

I typically shy away from talking about my work life on here just because I never know who is really reading... however...

I'm starting a new chapter in my life and I have so many mixed emotions. I'm leaving behind a job I've loved for a new challenge. This new job is going to greatly benefit my family and I couldn't be happier! However, I'm leaving behind one of my best friends that I've had the pleasure of working with for 4 years now. I've cried a lot over the past 24 hours... tears of joy, tears of nervousness, tears of loss. Who knew leaving a job would be this hard?

I'm moving on to a Marketing Coordinator position with a company that I think I will be able to grow with for the next several years... heck, possibly forever. It's an amazing company and I am thrilled to embark on this new adventure. It's going to be challenging but soooo exciting. It's exactly what I was looking for and more!

I start October 11, 2010. I have a lot to wrap up at my current work place, and it will be a pleasure as I pass the torch on to someone else. I'm leaving on a good note... there have been some very hard times, but I'm focusing on the good ones and the memories+friends I've made.

Four years have gone by. I've learned a lot. Now it's time to move on.
