Flood Tragedy Strikes Music City

This video is quite possibly the best slide show I've seen recapping what just happened here in Middle Tennessee. It gives me a sense of peace and thankfulness as my own neighborhood wasn't struck nearly as bad. I still have my house. I still have my yard.

The video is somewhat cut off in the blog but you can view it here:

Tennessee is known as the Volunteer State and this just proves even more why that is... are we sitting around whining? No. We're doing something about it, helping our neighbors, and making the best of this epic tragedy. I've seen a lot of positive things on the news here about how people are stepping in to help one another. No looting, no crime... people are actually working together.

There is still a lot to do... a lot of recovery that will take months... historic places are destroyed right now...but we're Music City and we will pull through. May God be with those who have suffered great losses in this storm.
